Notes

• Hull numbers varied greatly with no apparent standardization in size or font from ship to ship, or unit to unit
• For the most part it appears that all boats from the same ship or unit used the same font style and character layout, though I have found at least one occurrence where the font differs, possibly due to the photographs being taken some years apart. Thus I have included picture samples from boats other than LCVPs
