Back to Modeling the Sd.Kfz. 234 in 1/72nd Scale
The Sd.Kfz 234/1 was the
reconnaissance/anti-aircraft version of this heavy
8-wheeled armored car. Although built after the Sd.Kfz.
234/2, it was designated as the Sd.Kfz 234/1. Somewhere
around 230 were built by the war's end. Some of them were
outfitted with a long-range radio set, but I don't know
how many. Both the Hasegawa and MarS kits come with parts
for this antenna mount, and based on the boxart, the
Roden kit should as well.
