Back to Modeling the Sd.Kfz. 234 in 1/72nd Scale
There are a couple of
wartime photographs that show unusual variants of the
Sd.Kfz 234. Specifically, there is one that mounts a
small 3.7cm FlaK Schwebelafette turret in an open
fighting compartment, and a single photo of a 234 chassis
mounted with the turret from a Panzer II L Luchs. It is
believed that these two vehicles were one-offs, or field
conversions, rather than prototype vehicles, though there
is nothing known about them for certain, so speculation
remains. There apparently were also plans to build 234s
with a variety of anti-aircraft turrets, and with other
armament options, though it's believed that none of these
ever saw prototype development.

Modelltrans #72073 |
Resin |
Conversion set for Hasegawa.
Includes gun turret and armored side plates for

should be a 3.7cm gun, not 2.0cm. I don't know if
only the kit name is wrong, or if the parts are
actually for a 2.0cm gun. |
