The vinyl
tires have plasticizer migration issues (aka"tire burn",
tires melting rims, etc.). Care must be taken to prevent direct contact
between vinyl tires and styrene. You should not start building unless
you know how to deal with this.
This problem has been reported by many online commenters about the
kits. I have also been a victim. It is unlikely to be a problem with
isolated samples but rather is a problem with the entire lot.
