AFV & artillery kits that HäT has recently begun marketing for
wargamers. The boxes are labeled: Armourfast.
Although simple, they are well-detailed and accurate. In
the words of HäT's representative: "It's main job
is to provide people with a good looking tank which won't
take hours to put together."
HäT also markets several figure sets, and also some photoetched detail sets for these plastic kits. As of 2010 most of the kits have been taken over by the company that did the actual casting for Hät and are brought under the Armourfast label. |

This kit has acceptable detail for the barrel, trail & wheels, which with some detailing should turn out quite nice. Unfortunately the shield is much too narrow. This is most evident between the left edge of the shield and the opening for the sights, where the sights are much too close to the edge of the shield. The only real fix for this would be to scratch build a new shield or somehow cobble together a new shield from one or more of the kits that come in the box. - Al Magnus |
