Evaluation:
Another excellent model, without doubt a collaboration between AL.BY and ODEX. Representing a most forgotten vehicle, as to my knowledge only TRUX Models had near 1/76 and ITA Models used to have an 1/72 DK5 cargo/pick up version, all by now extinct.
As usual, the quality of AL.BY offerings is exceptional, particularly with the well-rendered PE frontal grille (I wonder if Alain could sell me a spare, for my ITA DK5 &), so no warping, air bubbles and very few cleaning. This is a right from the box model.
As far as scale is concern, using the available data, this is the result:
Dimensions in mm | |||
Real | 1/72 | Kit | |
Wheel base | 2854 | 39,63 | 42,40 |
Overall width | 1676 | 23,27 | 22,20 |
Overall Length | 4457 | 61,9 | 67,80 |
I have some trouble to find reliable info and dimensions about this particular vehicle, so these values are only a provisory. I really think that AL.BY, and ODEX, have without doubt better data than I, so there is a high possibility that the model will be at 1/72.
Highly Recommended
