The 47 degree hull is very nice, but the tools are still molded on, and unlike the 56 degree M4A2 the hatches have the right number of louvers.

Dragon finally gives us some new wheels, but they chose to wait to give them to us in a Beutepanzer! Notice the grease nipples are all in the same position.

The wheels are hollow behind, but that's easy to fix.

The return roller rounds off the last of the newly tooled parts included in the kit. Everything else comes from a previously released Sherman kit, so you end up with heaps of parts for the spare parts box. (Those sprues come from Dragon's M4A3 105, M4A2, Sherman III, etc.)

I can't bring myself to build the M4A2 as a Beute. I think it will build into a nice USMC M4A2 from Saipan or Peleliu. All I'll need are some rubber or steel chevron tracks from another kit. I'll use the dish wheels on a Sherman from the European theater. There are lots of spare part bonuses in the kit. The loader's and commander's hatch from the T23 turrets are included and can be used to spiff up the Trumpeter Pershings.

Luis Rodríguez Duarte adds:
This hull is not 100% accurate for the depicted tank. The early 47º hulls had the recessed ventilator blower cast in the top hull plate with the inverted U shape, in the same fashion as the M4A1(76)W hull. A minor surgery matter, I think, as it should be easy to shave off the cover and to scribe the recessed line.
