Panhard 178 Armored Car

Another superb model from ExtraTECH. As usual, the resin is of extremely high quality, with no air bubbles or other imperfections. The hull and turret need to be removed from some rather large mold blocks, but the other parts should be easy to remove. There is very fine rivet detail on the hull and turret, but there are not enough rivets. More can be added with Grandt Line bolts, or better still, Archer dry transfers.

There are several brass parts, including the fenders, suspension springs, tow rings, and other details.

The decal sheet is very comprehensive, with markings for three versions: one French, and two captured German. The decals are very thin, and printed in register. The actual decals look better than the above scan, because I had to alter the contrast and brightness to get the white to show up.

This is a highly recommended kit, as are all ExtraTECH models.
