This set is meant as a conversion to transform Italeri's Kübelwagen kit into the rail capable Type 157, which was developed in 1943.

The set consists of 4 wheels, late style canvas top (with three frames instead of two and a rear canvas flap), detachable side windows and rear bumper. The side windows will need some acetate sheet plastic to simulate the windows.

The parts are nicely cast without any air bubbles or other blemishes. I have the impression that the wheel hubs are not entirely circular and the hub detail is on the soft side. The canvas hood is very realistically rendered and has some interior detail.

While the small leaflet that comes with the set, says that it is limited to 20 items, I have been told that production has been extended due to the success of the set.
