Armored Car of Izhorsk Plant

The model includes 47 plastic pieces spread over 3 sprues plus a set of 12 rubber tires.

Most of the pieces are cleanly molded, only the turret has some flash. The whole kit is quite rough however: some pieces have heavy detail (raised doors and hinges on the body sides), while some have no detail at all (flat leaf springs). The parts for the armored body are really thick, the radiator armored air intakes are molded solid, gun and MGs are quite chunky and finally the turret, which looks like a copy from UM’s T-26/BA-3, lacks any detail.

The rubber tires are the same that can be found on UM’s GAZ trucks. They are quite nice, but the material they are made of can melt the other plastic parts that come in contact with them, so measures must be taken to avoid this.

There are no decals included but it seems that the real vehicle didn’t carry any markings.
