OKB Grigorov, T-64 update sets

I have been sent by Georgi at OKB Grigorov some of his T-64 upgrade sets to review.
There are three sets:

S72065, 125mm metal barrel for T-64/72/80/90;
S72075, Tracks for T-64;
S72076, Wheels for T-64, type 1.

The sets come in the usual zip-lock bags with the paper header describing the contents...

The photo-etch is very fine and should fold around the barrel without any problem, I don't know if it needs to be annealed but this may be useful to make it more malleable. You should need 6 straps to fold around the sleeve and you get 9 with this set, I wish some other photo-etch manufacturers would include extra pieces for the eventuality that one will get lost.

The Tracks...

The tracks are well designed and look very good indeed, they come on four runners and should have enough to complete a single tank with some spare tracks. Also included are the sprockets for the T-64 and these are very nicely done. There should be no problem fitting the tracks around these.

Finally the road wheels...

There are a full set of road wheels and these are finely cast and look very good indeed. There are seven sets, six for the road wheels and one for the idler.

All the parts are well cast, there is some very fine casting web on some parts and this can be removed easily with an old toothbrush. I hope this has been useful to those wishing to enhance their models of the T-64.
