The two sets I will preview here are, S72042 - Tracks for Pz.III/IV, 40cm type 1 and S72058 - Tracks for Pz.III/IV Winterketten.

The tracks are flexible resin and are attached to resin casting blocks, you get 4 lengths in each pack, certainly enough for one tank...

Winterketten...

They are very easy to remove from the resin casting blocks, you can use the edge of the block as a guide and a few strokes with a sharp scalpel blade separates them easily...

As you can see the detail is excellent and they are well cast with no discernible flash. They are also quite flexible...

40cm Type 1...

The real beauty of this set is the guide horns are already hollowed out, so no more nights spent carving out the Revell horns...

They are removed from the casting block exactly the same way as the Winterketten...

Those amazing guide horns again...

The tracks fit well around the Dragon sprocket (F1) and might need some adjustment for the Revell one, bear in mind I am only holding them in place here and when glued the fit will be a lot better...

Winterketten on Dragon sprocket...

40cm Type 1 on Dragon sprocket...

Winterketten on Revell sprocket...

I have done a little comparison between OKB, Revell and Dragon...

From left to right, Winterketten, 40cm Type 1, Revell (late tracks) and Dragon (40cm early).

Same sequence as above.

I think the OKB tracks win out over the other two as the fineness of casting is apparent. That doesn't mean Revell and Dragon are not good tracks - they are compared to what else is out there, but the OKB tracks, in my opinion, win out for detail and fine casting.

I hope this may be of help to anyone wanting to replace Pz.III/IV tracks on their models. I am very impressed and will be ordering more in the future.
