M2/M3 "Bradley"

Kit #03143 Preview by Rob Haelterman - heman_148(at)hotmail.com

1. Packaging

Side opening cardboard box. (While most Revell releases in the past have had side opening boxes, some kits can sometimes be found with top opening boxes too). Inside, the sprues are packaged in (a) plastic bag(s).

2. Version

This kit (Kit 03143) represents the earliest versions of the Bradley, while kit 03124 is for the M2A2/M3A2.

3. The sprues

Quality of casting is very good, as we are used to from Revell. Each box contains 5 sprues, 4 of which are (nearly) identical to those of kit 03124.

This sprue ought to be the same as that of kit kit 03124, but the first 10,000 kits produced of the latter lacked the subsprue for parts 106, 107 and 108 (engine deck and inserts for rear door).

This sprue is slightly different from that of kit 03124 in that it has two additional subsprues for the gun ports.

This sprue is completely different from that of kit kit 03124, as it represents the earliest version of the hull and turret armor, while 03124 has the add-on armor.

This is the same sprue as that of kit kit 03124.

This is the same sprue as that of kit kit 03124.
