Preliminary
note:
Kits 72864 and 72SE06 are identical, apart from the extra resin parts
in the latter.
Molding
The kit is molded in a light gray plastic like all the other Attack
kits; the resin parts are molded in gray resin which is way better
than the older sand colored resin of older Attack resin kits. The
plastic sprues are limited molded just like all of Attack's kits so
the molding is a bit soft in some places and there is some flash.
The resin parts are beautifully made without air bubbles and with
only a little bit of flash that will be easy to clean up.
The road-wheels are a bit rough and are missing the reinforcement
strip on the inside of the wheel.
Tracks
There are 2 kinds of tracks in this kit, plastic and resin. With the
plastic for the long runs and the resin for around the idler and sprocket.
The plastic tracks are nice and thin; sadly, none of the holes are
open and those will be a pain to open up. The resin tracks are better
and only a few holes are covered with flash that was easy to open
up with a toothpick. The fit around the idler and sprocket is nice
and tight.
Superstructure
The fenders are on the thick side with the tools molded on the fenders.
It will be impossible to remove them without destroying the no-slip
detail on the fenders.
Only the driver's hatch is molded open.
Turret
The visors are a bit soft and are missing the bolt detail on the bottom,
but this will be easy to fix. The barrels are beautifully molded in
resin. The hatch is molded shut.
Decals
The decals are nice and thin but no intructions are giving for their
placement.
Extra
There are a few extra parts for the superstructure and I think you
can also build Pz.Bef.Wg.I; also, there is a big hatch for a Munitionspanzer.

Special edition parts
The special edition parts are provided in grey resin. You get 6 sprues
for the interior. These part are really well detailed. The engine
and driver's compartment will be hard to remove as there is a big
resin plug underneath them. There a few things missing, like a spare
barrel holder, signal flags and personal gear. It would be easy to
take them from one of the Preiser infantry sets or from Dragon.
All hatches are provided as resin replacement parts but you still
need to drill out the opening for the hatches in the hull and turret
if you want to leave them open.
